1. What are the programs offered by HKUST Business School and the intake target?
Our first-year intake target is ~695 for local students and ~174 for non-local students (25% on top of local intake target).

If you are HKDSE applicant, please submit your application via the JUPAS website.
For other applicants, please submit your application online at http://join.ust.hk/.

4. What does HKUST Business School consider when making an admission decision?
Of course your academic performance is important, but it is not everything. We also look for open-minded students who want to tackle problems head-on, enterprising students who have a strong commitment to succeed and forward-thinking students who could make a real change and positive impact to society.
Above all else, we look for a caring attitude. This is fundamental. We want all our business students to have a genuine concern for people and the communities we serve.
5. Does HKUST offer scholarships?
Yes. We offer a number of scholarships each year to top students with outstanding academic performance. We will identify and select the students to be offered scholarships. You do not have to apply for them.

6. I am a transfer applicant. Can I transfer my credits to your school if I am admitted?

7. Can I visit the school before applying?
Yes, of course. Our Student Ambassadors will be happy to show you around the campus, in person or virtually, and give you first-hand information about HKUST Business School. If you would like to visit the campus, please send your request to ambassador@ust.hk, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

9. When does the academic year begin? Do you admit students in any semester?
The HKUST academic year starts in early September. Spring admission is generally not recommended.
