Hong Kong China M&A Association (HKCMAA) - University Cooperation Program

About Hong Kong China M&A Association (HKCMAA)

The Hong Kong China Merger & Acquisition Association was founded in 2017 with the aim of uniting Hong Kong-based M&A professionals and providing an integrated platform to facilitate communication and cooperation with industry peers in mainland China and overseas markets. Through its web-based platform and regular member meetings HKCMAA also strives to improve the quality of Hong Kong’s M&A sector by providing members and member companies with vital industry information and training in areas such as M&A strategies for mainland China and other markets, analysis of M&A trends, and M&A compliance issues.   With its base in Hong Kong - a major center of global finance, a hub for the Greater Bay Area and a key player in China’s "One Belt and One Road" initiative - HKCMAA is well positioned to contribute to the development of Hong Kong and China’s M&A industry.

University Cooperation Program

With the future growth of Hong Kong’s M&A sector in mind, HKCMAA has established the University Cooperation Program to give students in Hong Kong the opportunity to complete internships under senior HKCMAA council members or member companies and to provide a channel for cooperation with university faculty in the areas of M&A research and technical expertise. In addition to gaining the skills and knowledge they need to become young professionals in Hong Kong’s M&A field students will also gain valuable insight into the mechanisms of mainland and overseas M&A conducted by Chinese and Hong Kong enterprises.
