Value Partners, one of Asia's largest fund and asset management firm, is partnering with HKUST Business School to offer exclusively the "Value Partners Young Fellowship Program" to business undergraduates. 

What is Value Partners Young Fellowship Program?

  • This is a "Scholarship bundled with internship" opportunity exclusively offered by Value Partners for business and dual degree program students
  • It includes a full-time internship opportunity at Value Partners from January to June 2019 which is offered to the awardee of this Scholarship
  • It includes a cash award of HK$10,000 for the awardee of this Scholarship in addition to a paid internship

Selection Criteria

  • Undergraduates of Year 3 or 4 who are studying Finance, Quantitative Finance, Economics, or any Business and Finance related disciplines OR Year 4 or 5 undergraduate students in Dual Degree Program
  • Significant interest in working at financial markets and investment management profession
  • Candidates must have a proven academic record (CGA of 3.0 out of 4.3 or above)
  • A self-motivated team player who enjoys working in a dynamic team
  • Fast learner and able to apply knowledge into work quickly
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in both English and Chinese
  • High-level proficiency in MS Office applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Chinese word Inputting
  • For the interns of investment team, knowledge in Bloomberg and Financial Modelling skills is preferred
  • Candidates must be available to work full-time from January 2 - June 30, 2019
  • Candidates who successfully obtained the offer in mid Nov 2018 should then follow up to apply for study leave (Spring Term 2019) through their study major department before the internship commences and return to HKUST for continuing the study after the completion of the internship
  • Students who are now on study leave are NOT eligible to apply
  • Students who are currently on exchange please state clearly your return date and Skype account for interview if being shortlisted
