Late Applications for Course Add/Drop
After the course add/drop period, requests to add or withdraw from courses will not be considered, unless extenuating circumstances beyond your control caused the course addition or withdrawal.
If you would like to request to add or drop courses after the add/drop period, you will have to provide the department your written request with full justification.
The request must be first endorsed by the course instructor first, and then reviewed by the Head of the department. If the Head of the department supports the request, it will then be reviewed by the Dean of the School or the Dean’s delegate.
Once approval is given, you will be able to add or withdraw from your course. In the latter’s case, the withdrawal without penalty grade – “W” – will be recorded as your course grade.
