JUPAS admissions figures 2016

Drawing reference from the lower-quartile score of the 2016 JUPAS intake, the competitive scores for entering the Business School and its programs are as follows.

Program JUPAS Main Round Offers Competitive Score Average Score Per Subject
Business and Management (School-based admission) 435 ≥ 37/56 4.63
BBA Professional Accounting 49 ≥ 38/56 4.75
BBA Finance 25 ≥ 40.5/59.5 4.76
BBA Global Business 22 ≥ 48/56 6.0
BSc Economics and Finance 20 ≥ 43.5/59.5 5.12
BSc Quantitative Finance 12 ≥ 51/59.5 6.0

As 2016 is the first year that the hybrid school-based and program-based admission model was introduced, the entrance score statistics for some programs are not available due to small intake size. For BBA programs not listed on the median & lower quartile table, reference may be made on basis of other business programs with similar intake size, e.g. BBA Finance.

Median & lower quartile are available at https://join.ust.hk/docs/adm_figures/2016_adm_figures.html.
(Note: HKDSE score is a major but not the only factor for admission. The median and lower quartile may change from year to year depending on the pool of applicants)
