HKUST Business School Hosts 16th HKUST International Case Competition

This year marks the 16th anniversary of HKUST International Case Competition (HKICC), Asia’s first and leading international case competition.  Held from October 20 to October 26 and sponsored by Lifestyle International Holdings Limited, HKICC 2018 attracted 15 teams from nine countries and markets, including Australia, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Canada, the US, Denmark and the Netherlands. The participating teams put forward strategic recommendations for SOGO in two case challenges on sustainability and digital technologies.  University of Southern California from the US defeated other outstanding teams from top business schools  and took the championship in this prestigious annual contest. The first and second runners-up are Indiana University and Nanyang Technological University, respectively. As part of the 6-day competition program, participants also had the chance to experience Hong Kong and build lasting friendships through various cultural and social activities.
