About the Speaker

Sanjay Mehta is the President of QCT China. He oversees all direct and indirect go to market activities for the company’s chipset business in China.  Assuring the continuous growth of QCT’s revenue streams in mobile and adjacent businesses, while driving operational excellence. Sanjay is currently based in Shenzhen. 

Prior to this role, Sanjay served as the Business Operations lead of QCT, providing support on finance management, customer services, sales as well as business operations. He joined Qualcomm in 2004 and has been a key member of the QCT leadership team ever since, holding various roles in Finance, including the position of QCT CFO for six years. Sanjay has made several significant contributions to QCT, implementing many of the decision support processes, establishing a global pricing strategy, providing key support for the integration of Atheros, and the implementation of QCT’s business unit structure. 

Sanjay has more than 25 years of leadership experience and a strong history of building business partnerships and delivering results. Prior to joining Qualcomm, Sanjay held several management positions in Nortel Networks, also at PwC Canada. 

Sanjay holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree along with a major in Economics from the University of Toronto.  He is also qualified as a Chartered Accountant earlier in his career.
